According to the Maryland State Police, the crash occurred when a second vehicle traveling north attempted to change lanes at a high speed, resulting in a collision with Hazel’s car and a third vehicle. While the occupants of the other two vehicles escaped unharmed, Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Authorities are investigating the incident, considering alcohol as a potential contributing factor, and are contemplating charges in consultation with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office.
