Alabama Crimson Tide recently secured a commitment from five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood, adding another top prospect to their roster. This announcement comes just a day after landing Caleb Cunningham, the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 class.
Hailing from Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, Haywood is ranked as the No. 2 offensive tackle and the 11th overall player in the 2025 class. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 285 pounds, he brings size and skill to the Crimson Tide lineup.
Haywood took official visits to several schools before ultimately choosing Alabama. His visits included Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Florida State, but in the end, he decided to join the powerhouse program in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama’s recruiting efforts have not slowed down, even with the transition from legendary head coach Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer. The Crimson Tide have now secured four five-star commitments and currently hold the No. 2 ranking in the nation for their 2025 class, closing in on the top spot held by Ohio State.
With the addition of Haywood, Alabama continues to solidify its position as a top destination for high school football prospects looking to compete at the highest level. The Crimson Tide’s commitment to excellence both on and off the field makes them an attractive choice for top talent across the country.
