So, like, the NFC West is all over the place, ya know? The San Francisco 49ers are losing some big names like Deebo Samuel, Dre Greenlaw, and Talanoa Hufanga. And don’t even get me started on the Seattle Seahawks – no more Geno Smith, DK Metcalf, or Tyler Lockett. It’s like a whole new world out there in 2025 for them. Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals are trying to figure out who they wanna be under head coach Jonathan Gannon, and the Los Angeles Rams are going all in for that Super Bowl with Matthew Stafford back and Davante Adams on their team. It’s been a wild ride through free agency and the draft, so let’s see how these teams are stacking up.

First up, the Arizona Cardinals. They get a solid B- from me. They focused most of their attention on defense, bringing in guys like EDGE Josh Sweat and DT Dalvin Tomlinson. But here’s the thing – they didn’t bother to snag a top wide receiver in free agency or the draft. What’s up with that? Looks like Kyler Murray will have to make do with his current crew of Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, and Greg Dortch. At least they picked up some promising defensive players in the draft, so there’s that.

Now onto the Los Angeles Rams, who get an A- in my book. They made some big moves, like keeping Stafford and adding Adams to their receiving corps. Adams is still a force to be reckoned with, and I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of folks this season. They also locked down some key players like Alaric Jackson and Poona Ford. Watch out for tight end Terrance Ferguson to make a splash in Sean McVay’s offense.

The San Francisco 49ers, on the other hand, get a D+ from me. Ouch. They had a rough go in free agency, losing a bunch of key players. But GM John Lynch seems to think they’ve got something up their sleeves. Their draft picks might help beef up the defensive line, but they’ve got a lot of work to do. And don’t even get me started on that George Kittle extension – they better start saving up for Purdy next.

Last but not least, the Seattle Seahawks snag a solid B. They had to make some tough choices, saying goodbye to Metcalf, Lockett, and even Geno Smith. But picking up Sam Darnold was a smart move, and they didn’t break the bank for him either. Cooper Kupp joining the team is a bit of a head-scratcher, but maybe he’ll prove us wrong. Their draft picks look promising, especially OG Grey Zabel and S Nick Emmanwori.

All in all, it’s been a rollercoaster of an offseason for the NFC West. Some teams are looking to make a splash, while others are just trying to stay afloat. It’s gonna be one heck of a season, that’s for sure.
