MLS now holds a record of 11 wins and 10 losses since the inception of the All-Stars versus guest team format in 2002. In addition to recent victories over Liga MX, MLS has also defeated top European clubs like Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea.
Looking ahead, Liga MX teams will participate in the Leagues Cup, competing against MLS clubs in a 47-team tournament. Last year, Inter Miami led by Lionel Messi won the championship. With improved logistics and high expectations, Liga MX teams aim for better results in the upcoming tournament.
