The Minnesota Twins have brought back pitcher Chris Paddack from the injured list and he will be starting for the team against the Chicago White Sox on Monday night. Paddack, who is 28 years old, had been dealing with right arm fatigue which led to his time on the IL. He has a record of 5-3 with a 5.29 ERA in 15 games this season. Throughout his career, Paddack has a record of 27-24 with a 4.42 ERA in 83 appearances with both the San Diego Padres and the Twins.

In order to make room for Paddack on the roster, the Twins decided to option RHP Josh Winder to Triple-A St. Paul. Winder had a rough outing in his one appearance, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits in a loss to the Houston Astros on July 5.

The return of Paddack will hopefully provide a boost to the Twins’ pitching staff as they continue to compete in the season. Fans will be eager to see how Paddack performs in his first game back from the IL and if he can help lead the team to victory against the White Sox. Keep an eye on Paddack as he takes the mound and look out for his signature pitching style that has made him a valuable asset to the Twins.
