The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is complete in Green Bay. Miami quarterback Cam Ward was selected first overall by the Titans, Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter was drafted second by the Jaguars after Jacksonville acquired the pick from the Browns, and Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter was taken third by the Giants. Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart was the only other QB taken tonight after the Giants traded with the Texans for pick No. 25. Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders is surprisingly still available heading into the second round. The Draft resumes with rounds 2-3 Friday night at 7 p.m. ET in Cleveland.

Not really sure why this matters, but Lynch was excited about Jeanty according to Raiders coach Pete Carroll. Jerry Jones joked about a Dallas tush push when discussing picking another interior offensive lineman early in the draft. The Cowboys had ‘hard offers’ for the 12th pick, but ultimately selected OG Tyler Booker.

Giants were all in on finding a QB, as they traded up for Dart and offered their 2026 first for Cam Ward. Jones says Booker pick was about helping Dak Prescott. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer calls Tyler Booker “an immediate starter.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not really sure where Sanders could land Friday. Browns have the first pick of Day 2, so let’s see what happens. Packers seem to like Golden for his elite speed and hands.

Rams GM Les Snead had some words of wisdom on living life to the fullest. Dart seems excited to be in New York and follow Eli Manning’s path. Dart believes his personality fits New York City.

Sanders falling out of the first round was a surprise to many. His approach to the pre-draft process may not have been the best. Sanders is a good player but has some questions surrounding him.
